Making organizing fun since 2016.

We don’t take it lightly that we are invited into your home, your personal space, and your life. We love getting to know each one of our clients and helping in a personal way to create a space that fits their life best. Can organizing really be fun? We sure think so! We show up ready to work, but with inside jokes and pop music on-hand.

Lauren Smothers, Founder & Lead Organizer

Hey hey! I’m Lauren — Founder and Owner of Restore The Home. As a wife & mother of two young children, I understand the constant battle of managing the stuff in our homes.

Most people share the same struggle — too much stuff, under-utilized space, & zero brain power to organize it with a system that will last and look good — and that is why I started Restore The Home.

My journey as an organizer began in 2016 and to this day, my heart remains the same: to offer joy-filled & judgement-free service so that our clients can be at ease (& even excited!) throughout the entire process.

There is great value in establishing systems, and we would love to create them for you in a way that reflects both your personal style & your unique needs for function.

So — let’s get started!

Our Team

Allison Crum — Project Manager & Lead Organizer

Allison has been with Restore the Home since 2021. As Project Manager, she supports the client’s objectives by leading the team on-site and through intentional correspondence with the client to dream, manage and create a plan to make it happen. Throughout each project, she compliments those objectives with detailed product recommendations that serve each client’s home and budget. She is passionate about being able to blend her love for creating systems and caring for people through home organization!

Allison grew up in Little Rock, and has loved calling Northwest Arkansas home for the past 14 years. She currently lives in Bentonville with her husband, Brian, and is a bonus mom to her 12 year old step-son, Logan. She has two sweet pups, Shadow and Rogue. Allison graduated from The University of Arkansas with a degree in Marketing Management and has a diverse marketing background ranging from working for Fortune 500 companies to local non-profits prior to her current role with Restore the Home. In her free time, she loves to enjoy time outside, go camping, running, and baking.

Madeline Porter — Junior Organizer

Madeline has been with Restore The Home since 2022. As Junior Organizer, Madeline works with our team and the client at each session to establish organizational systems in our client’s homes. She specializes in the details to bring each client’s vision to life, and ensure that each space feels perfectly organized. Additionally, she manages product orders and research for each of our projects! Her favorite part of working at RTH is seeing spaces transform and in turn bringing more peace and light to people’s homes and families.

Madeline is from Springdale and currently lives there with her husband, Jack Ryan. Madeline graduated from The University of Arkansas with degrees in Spanish and Secondary Education. She worked as a teacher in schools across NWA before joining the RTH team in 2022. When she’s not working you can find her attending Razorback games, perusing antique stores, trying out new local restaurants, and creating Spotify playlists for every occasion.
